Vegan Crème brulée

My mother got an omnivorous recipe and tried to veganize it. It was spectacular! It is mandatory to try this recipe! Let’s see?

Vai precisar:

  • 1 colher de sopa de açúcar de coco;
  • 1 pau de canela;
  • 40 gramas de amido de milho;
  • 6 dl de leite vegetal;
  • casca de limão.

You will need:

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar;
  • 1 cinnamon stick;
  • 40 grams of corn starch;
  • 6 dl of vegetable milk;
  • lemon peel.

Vamos começar!

Ferva o leite com a casca de limão e o pau de canela. Desligue o lume e deixe o leite arrefecer até ficar morno. 

Numa tigela, misture o açúcar de coco com o amido e o leite morno.

Leve ao lume, mexendo até ferver. Divida o leite creme em taças e deixe arrefecer.

Antes de servir, coloque um pouco de açúcar no topo e queime com um maçarico.

Let’s start!

Boil the milk with the lemon peel and the cinnamon stick. Turn off the heat and let the milk cool down until it is warm.

In a bowl, mix the coconut sugar with the starch and the warm milk.

Cook it again, stirring until boiling. Divide the cream milk into little bowls and let it cool.

Before serving, put some sugar on top and burn with a blow torch.
